We had the privilege of visiting Kamuzu Central Hospital alongside an incredible team of designers from Creative DNA and the 100-Year Plan, to create something truly special — a fashion experience that brought joy, dignity, and color to patients’ lives.
Instead of sympathy, we brought celebration. Designers were challenged to create garments that could uplift, comfort, and inspire — and they delivered beautifully. Every stitch held meaning, every piece carried a message of hope.
From patient model fittings to spontaneous runway moments, the atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter, and a sense of empowerment. These were not just clothes. They were expressions of care, courage, and compassion.
“Fashion is a healing and hopeful force — it brings joy to humanity in the most unexpected ways.”
We are incredibly grateful to every designer who poured heart and soul into this mission. And to our beautiful patient models — thank you for trusting us and reminding us why we do what we do.
Fashion has the power to heal — and at Kamuzu Central Hospital, it did exactly that.
